This blade can be used on hose cut off machines and roll slitters for converting tape, foil, textiles etc. Hose Cut-Off circular knife blades are designed to cut wire reinforced hydraulic hose fast and clean. This smooth bevel blade is made from M2 HSS which is great for keeping the blades sharp but should only be used on very specific hose cut-off saws. Smooth bevel blades should only be used on 2″ single and double wire braided hose. Do not use on miter saws or any traditional woodworking saw! Do not operate while dull which can increase the friction during the cut and cause stress cracks that can result in broken blades. Inspect blades for stress cracks.
